Interesting rear lens cap concept

I found this via Twitter. It does look interesting and is currently being crowdfunded for release shortly.

My only concern is that no matter how clean I keep my camera bag, there is always a certain amount of dander in there and that is going to get into the lens rear cap if it is open in the bag whereas at the moment, the lens end cap I remove goes straight onto the lens I am changing so dust ingress is kept to a minimum.

Looks awkward. But then, so did the automobile at first. Ha ha!

Years ago I made a similar system by cutting a cutting a piece of plywood to size, covering it in foam and then felt, then using small bolts to hold a number of rear lens caps in place. It works a treat and makes lens swapping so much simpler.
