Moving Adobe LR to a new laptop

Just wondering if anyone has changed computers/laptop and uses Adobe Lightroom, has tips on moving my photos and info from Lightroom?

I have always reinstalled LR, so be sure to have your license handy. Then, you have to rematch you LR folders with the location of your actual photos. LR has the utility to do so. Just allow time.

I wasn’t planning on moving all my photos over as I have way too many!
So I guess I’ll just have to match the photos that are important to me.

It isn't that big a deal to move them all and then sort through them.
