Mainly from the frames, rather than the actual effects. Probably used the most "normal" lens/film combo. This isn't the guy who won a prize and caused a fuss in the US media is it?

Just looked at the picture which are really good.... but has anyone followed the link from this to the whole photostream and seen the terrible images of Afghanistan dog fighting . http://www.flickr.com/photos/basetrack/page6/. shocking that this goes on in the 21st century ...
