I've been getting into photoshop lately and wanted to see some of the work on here without browsing through everyone and looking for them lol, so if any of you are willing to share with me on it'd be greatly appreciated!
@flamez been hoping to do some more just been a bit nuts lately, still my final 365 photo (well of this year anyway) is shaping up to be pretty good I am guestimating its going to take about 240 layers :D and 3 days hehe
This was photographed on a plain white piece of paper, added a coloured gradient level and then extended the bottom and added part of the reindeer upside down and then used liquify, need more practice it's only the second time I've done this sort of thing.
Three different photos using layers merged together.
Textured layer added and objects removed to give that look of falling, really need to practice this more.
I recently had this photo published which made me very happy as it was my first time having a photo published, this was edited in GIMP and very simple.
This was a flower which I did a rainbow gradient on and then used the polar co-ordinate thingie.
Fun thread! I enjoy "photoshopping" on occasion, but I rarely drastically alter a photo like I have here. I'm still a PS Newby.
This one's really bad, but my son wanted to appear in a photo for the surreal theme. I really botched the cat's ears and hadn't figured out shadows yet.
@onarom Cheers Dale! Actually, your first one reminds me of a number of conversations I've had lately with fellow photogs - I'm glad you showed the before shot there, as it seems a lot of newbies are trying to do those shots without realising they are composites. People - that's how it is done! Safety first, like Dale has shown!
The geese were in another photo I took shortly after taking the one of the tree and photoshopped them in to add an element of interest to the photo.
This is actually the same blue heron, not two different ones. I took two shots of the bird, one standing, the other in flight, and combined the two.
a couple of mine ....
god damn i love me some photoshop.
To show just a few..
Here's one from earlier in my project:
As you can see, I'm not into heavy manipulation, but rather photographic art.
