I have a whole assemblage done with washed up beach trash. It's about 4 feet by 3 feet... all shot on film with my Nikon F5 and whatever cheapy Fuji film Walgreens had. Here is a photo of the whole thing: http://www.hmgphotos.com/Film/BradleyBeach/10427422_X9vMhr#722844561_Zqug7-A-LB Washed up stuff is awesome! Until you find nasty stuff...

@hmgphotos Love it! I wonder how far I'd have to go to get to a beach, though. Hmm. :) And, speaking of cheapie Walgreens film - I've actually had really good luck with that in the past. Like, not even the Fuji kind, but the Walgreens store brand.

@beautifulthing I did this when I lived in NJ, so it definitely helped out! I think we have about 14 hours of driving to hit the CA coast, if we break the speed limit a bit :P

@hmgphotos Hmm...maybe I can find a nice mud puddle instead. :)

@beautifulthing Those are some great photos, some are a little too much HDR'd/post processed for my taste but there are some amazing photos in there too!

@shadesofgrey Yeah, less is more on the HDR, I always say. But I was impressed with what postprocessing can do in some of those cases to what would be a very mundane shot otherwise!

@beautifulthing Definitely! btw, meant to add to my last post that the link was for a washed up shot I got almost 2 years ago now....since we were on the subject and all.
