Hi Kathleen... welcome to 365! this is an awesome community :)
commenting and following others is always the best way to get input back... it might also help if you put some info in your profile and then wrote a bit about each shot - what you were looking to do, and what you'd like input on... :)
Yep, just echoing what everyone else has said. You really need to put some effort in to get comments and critiques back, but once you have started building your community, you should find a lot of knowledge and support!
(Another tip, when you reply to someone's comment, make sure you hit the 'reply' button so that their @ name shows up, like @kalfarorn . That way, they will get a notification of your comment and be more likely to see it.)
@kalfarorn Hi Kathleen. I dont have much time but I will comment on your photos. Not everyone but I will do my best at least once a week. Welcome to this great community and enjoy your 365 project.
All of the above and I'll add - try participating in themes and competitions. That way your pics will be seen by most people and much likely get more follows and comments. If you are looking for critique, always mention that in the description, most people shy away from giving unwanted advice. You can also tag your pic with critique-me.
Follow others and be positive in your critique of their photos, so they may profit from your criticism. Try to participate in challenges ( I find this very time consuming when life gets in the way though) . Be confident since it is your project and despite all the critic you get its still your choice of photos and your style. ( Know its hard when seeing all these brilliant shots around here, feel like this very often myself) . Enjoy yourself on 365 its a fantastic place
