This is the 2nd week in a row with this thread, and it seems to be a really convenient post for those of you who want more critique and more followers on you project.
Do you have a photo from the past week that didn't get the credit you think it deserves? Does that photo not have as many views, favs, or comments as you want? Then post it here! You'll (possibly) get more views, comments and favs than any other picture on your project.
I seem to get views, but few comments. I have some photos in my project with 50+ views but fewer than 10 comments. This one only got 18 views and 4 comments.
I was really happy with this photo.. The subject, the focus and the colour.. It was SOOTC and i am a little proud of it... It didnt seem to go well with my followers though... Nevermind, i like it...
If I had 12 hours a day to sit in front of my computer and checkout the 365 pics I could probably help these people out, but I am a busy, busy gal with too many followers/followees to even do them justice. Sometimes I get lots of views/comments and sometimes not so many. I try not to worry about it... I assume most other people are as busy as I am and sometimes a view is all they have time for and sometimes only in the thumbnails.
This only got 10 views but to me it was an amazing catch. He was giving himself a bath and I had two dogs with me and he never noticed. I shot this and a pic of him splahing about. Neither got much attention.
365 for me is the personal journey I am taking with my camera and what I gain from this. Here are my conclusions to date and answers that for me are more important than mere accolades (though don't get me wrong - I too love the comments you all give).
80 days in where was it that my photography changed from my status quo renderings to what I now see and capture? What defining day and photograph changed my world view? It is a new world view as many friends, colleagues and 365'vers have noticed. For me it is probably as early as my 7/365 and real change happened around 33/365 when I realised I could truly capture a moment and show that result to my audience.
Above all else this is the true value of a 365 project and why I will continue to move forward with it in anticipation of the next exciting discovery/capture.
