Please tell me what do you think

Here the picture I would like you to critique. I like it a lot, but if I have to listen to my friends opinion it seems that I am a fool! What's wrong with this composition?

in my opinion if you like it that is all that matters
i guess it depends on what you are going to do with it
I like the feel of it - find the bright spot in the middle distracting

Out of focus. I would crop in.

i think the composition works - the focus on the fence makes for a sense of interest... it creates a barrier between the viewer and the scene which makes me curious about the main subject... however, i'm not clear on the story you are trying to tell. the sense i have is this is a personal snapshot for you, a memory that you want to hold on to... which is absolutely fine! but as an outside viewer, i'm not quite sure what i should be looking at...

It is ultimately your choice. I might crop out the portion above the top rail of the fence- it does not add any real meat to the rest. The direction of the man's stare to the bright spot adds drama so, that belongs. Not all that is out of focus is wrong, this is not wrong. I am intrigued by the look at the bright light and why the quick turn so I can appreciate the lack of sharpness.

If you like it, then that is the most important thing. However, as a personal opinion, I have to agree with @northy, its just not clear what we are looking at or what the message is.
I like the framing of the mans face between the fence, but it is the fence that is in focus, and I'm not 100% sure what the man is doing, is he sitting on a motorbike? a boat? plus bright light reflection is distracting. Hope that helps?

Many thanks to all of you for your suggestions. @brianarmoured the out of focus was my choice, but I agree with @joysabin there is something to crop. @northy @hwhittle77 @annied @juliedduncan you're right, it's a personal photo, and probably I can understand the scene because I was in the scene. I went to this motorbike show and he was just a model sitting on a bike. It's a personal photo but on the other hand I was working on a kind of very small project for my "photography course" and I decided to present my day at the motorshow...I was not sure about presenting this one for all the reasons you have pointed out! I'll try to work on it! Thank you!
