Hi everyone. My name is Munira. I am new at this and am trying to figure out how this site works. This is my first attempt at doing the 365 project. I would love to follow people and wouldn't mind friendly feedback. Some tips and overall help with this site would be welcome :) I look forward to seeing everyone's photos and inspiration.
Hello Munira. Welcome to 365. You will find people here very friendly and willing to give advice. Just ask! Where do you live? If you go to account at top of screen, then to my profile, you can write a little bit about yourself. You're going to love it here. Just ask if there's something that you want to know.
Welcome! I'd say go and browse some images - you can click on any thumbnail and it will get you to the photographer. Leave comments on the pictures. Follow people with photos you like, or intrigue you. These will show up in your daily feed, and it is very easy to stay connected.
Another way to get involved is to participate in any of the challenges. Don't worry, we are a friendly bunch here, and although the word challenge sounds stressful, it really isn't. I use them to get some inspiration and work on some technical challenges.
Thanks for the warm welcome and I live in Texas. I am looking forward to getting the critique/feedback and hopefully it will help me get better at my photography versus just point and shoot pictures.
Hi! Browse Latest, and comment on shots you like. The more you comment, the more people will respond back to you and comment on your work. Follow some of the folks whose work you particularly like, and you will see those in the 365Project menu out to the left of the top bar all arranged for you to look and comment.
@mkyusufali welcome! This an awesome community! I'm sure you'll enjoy being a part of it. Everyone is so full of positive feedback and helping one another out. Enjoy!
@mkyusufali Hi Munira! Welcome to 365 from a fellow Texan! Like everyone has said, this is a wonderful community, definitely one of the nicest you'll find on the web, very supportive, inspiring, and just plain fun.
@mkyusufali Hi, Princess: Welcome! I agree with @frankhymus - browse images, comment on the ones that inspire or interest you and have some fun trying new things. Only because I am hosting the "technique52" zoom burst challenge this week [no pressure! ;) ], if you were inclined to check that one out, I would be delighted. We would love to have some contributions. Mostly, I would note that this meant to be a fun and rewarding place to be. If you can comment - great. If life gets in the way, don't be disappointed... it is no problem. Off to check out your project. :)
@mkyusufali Hi, I'm a little new here myself. I've just been here about a month. I found people to follow by clicking on photos in the Latest page or by clicking on people I've chatted with in the Discussion threads. The new Curated page is a great place to find interesting photographers to follow as well. Enjoy your project and the site.
Welcome to 365. I have learned a ton on this site just by asking people how they did something. So, feel free to ask questions. We're a friendly group who likes to share.
