I've done two editions, and the truth is that I didn't know which one to choose, but in the end I chosed the one I show first. Which one do you like the most? You can see between them in the page left down here (by sliding the bar in the middle) or in the shots left down this. I would appreciate an answer in a comment, all in order to improve :) Or simply with this one-answer questionnaire that appears when you click on the button on the site: Compare both images with a slide between versions
Yes, I'd have to agree with you. I like the first one better. I am no portrait expert, but the skin tone and exposure appears more natural and complimentary on the first image.
That slider is an amazing tool! I feel the lighter is more natural, but I actually prefer the darker for the intensity of the eyes against the darker background.
@olivetreeann thank you for your opinion! @jackies365 yes, a bit oversaturated, isn't it? hmmm I'mn takign notes of your opinions :) @kjarn and what about the skin on the first with the darker background? @milaniet yes, it is! It's really cool to compare shots. Love your opinion on the contrast between eyes and background. @farmreporter thanks! Yes, skin and background is way more natural (less edited). And slider is such a great tool :D @bjywamer thank you!!! @ludwigsdiana so, for a scary movie the second edit :P haha thanks! @shutterbug49 there's no specific purpose, I wanted to take a portrait shot. That's also a great point, knowing what you want, in this case I think that my heart wanted a natural look @homeschoolmom thank you!! @vignouse thanks!!! So darkening the background on the first is an option
I'm not expert but to me it depends on what look and mood you were wanting to achieve. The first is a softer look that to me portrays a more gentle person, the second a much more intense look that reminds me of how my father looked at me when I had done something wrong
