@preston they are both excellent perspectives and you shouldn't limit yourself to one of them. I love them both equally and you are good at scale and framing!

I've read many times that it's beneficial to practice all types of photography. Nice photos!

I love them all. My fave is the first because it being a little more thought provoking.

Wow, that's a difficult choice. I truly like them all.

I like all of them. My top 2 favorites are #1 and #2. I like #1 because it is thought provoking. For example, I wonder what the dog is doing out there. What is the dog thinking? What is going to happen next? #2 is a favorite because it is a close up. I like the contrast of the spots on the dogs and the plaid of the upholstery. Perhaps #1 is my top favorite because I keep coming back to it and wondering about it.

i love the first two too...i love how you got down low on number 1...i think you are good at everything...and it is important as i am learning to try all sorts of things. it took me months to realize that it is people that i am most drawn to. you have a good eye for composition..you have talent my young friend...now go eat some oreos and think of a good shot for tomorrow!

First two are my faves, but I really like them all. You have 365 days of pics (plus an additional album or two if you become an Ace member) so I'm thinking try a bit of everything! You may find a style that suits you better, maybe not. Personally, my pics are all over the place!!!

They are all good. I'm no expert and am learning myself. If someone asked me what type of photographer I am before this project I would have no idea. However I have found I have a passion for macro, and also for living things such as bugs! But I try to take a range of photos of different types both near and far, managed to get a few good moon shots recently too, with my point-and-shoot. Have constantly been amazed at what I can now do and how much there is to learn!

Do what you want to do and like. You only need to please yourself. I too like the first one but they are all great!

why do you feel you need to make a choice about what sort of photos to take?, surely you take ones of things that please you in a style that pleases you,if that is all 3 then do all 3, if you prefer one over another then do that one,it is a personal thing.
all 3 of them have their merits and will appeal to different people

Why limit yourself. Some people do a theme each month to stretch their skills, but also to learn new techniques.

I think they're all great, but #1 is my favorite if I had to choose. It seems the most crisp but any of those shots would be perfect!!

I like all of them, I think you wil figure this out for yourself, and you will know by what you take. You wil be drawn to take what you like. You will not photograph what you have no intrest in. I love the 1st and 2nd one as I love animal shots and I love macro.
