Please Critique !!

i am very much interested in doing HDR photos, this one of my first HDR photo,
pls help me improve

I think the composition looks fine to me. The lighting looks interesting to me. I would nudge up the contrast. I will check back and see what others would do with this. I am a novice when it comes to processing.

I am also new to HDR and the immediate problem I found was that unsightly halo where the dark area joins the light if you overdo it. You can blend the join using dodge and burn, but it takes time and patience (and a steady hand) to do it well, so I find it easier and more effective to apply the effects a little at a time and stop as soon as it threatens to get out of control.

Okay - I will do my best to lend a hand but please note that I am still learning this myself.

This photo pulls my eye to the right. The section from the tree line down to the foreground rooftop is great. The section from the palm tree and across the left seems flat. The balcony area is great and if there is a way to tweak the photo to get the rest of that side to emulate that balcony, that would be fabulous.

I would suggest taking a photo with more elemental detail so that the HDR effect can really pop - oh, and watch for the white halo effect around the skyline areas. All in all though, it's a great effort.
