For my Final Major Project at college I need feedback on my photo's and I thought I would post them on 365 for this purpose!!
I am creating a documentary and the purpose for my edoctumentary is to show how inaccessible London is for a wheelchair user like myself, especially as the olympis and paralympics will be here next year and London is meant to be pretty much accessible by 2012.
I'll post the link to my photo's and please comment on any improvements you think may be needed, your preferences, your dislikes etc.
What are your ADA laws like in London? I see a few of the photos you posted show alternate entrances for disabled users. In America, I believe that as long as the establishment provides alternate accessible entrances, they are within the law. Therefore, while I completely understand your point as I too am a wheelchair user, I'm not sure how well they would help your case.
Obviously, I do not know the guidelines of your assignment, but if you still have the time, you might want to look at stores-see how low their check out counters are, restaurants-see how low their tables are, and how much of a hindrance the table legs will be, Also, I think it's worth it to look at restrooms as well, as they often provide the most challenge. While I understand that the olympics will be a huge attraction for London, I'm sure they are also depending on this attraction, to boost the economy as far as shopping and eating out. Just some thoughts. Sorry, I don't know much about photography to help you on the technicalities of your photos.
