I need some help.
I'm starting to think the text maybe ruined this photo.
I'm not sure though.
I rarely add text!
What do you guys think?
Any tips or tricks on how to incorporate text into photos in a nicer way?
Personally i think if it had of fit across the bottom of her back like a tattoo it would have looked great, i also find the font/color a little hard to read b/w the shading on her skin & background, it's a gorgeous photo either way though :)
Love the concept of the photo; don't like the text (not there anyway). If anything, I'd add the text to a hypothetical border underneath (motivational poster-style).
text works best in negative space IMHO.... or worked into the image as mentioned above... when the text does go across the object in the image it needs to be easy to read and set apart... setting fonts is a science and one that if you master you can make a great living at... I put it up there as one of the toughest things to do in visual design... so keep at it...

vs something like this where the text is simpler but fully in the negative space, so it stands on it's own...
Love the concept, love the body, great waist, colour and light good, the text doesn't work for me but only because it took a few seconds for me to be able to read it. I think perhaps it could be placed differently and perhaps a slightly different font and fade... just an idea. Again ~ great concept.
Brilliant idea and I like the lighting. I would prefer it without the text because everything seems just too squeezed in. Did you crop this? I prefer the photo to have more spaces at the sides to emphasize the wings. If there is a larger space perhaps the text would do but just a bit smaller. Let us know the final edit. :-)
AMAZING photo!! Personally I would prefer it with no text, but if the text is part of the overall concept of your shot then I would have to agree with the others and say a back tattoo would look great :D
without, its a beautiful picture and the wings caught my attention, so original, the writing pulls your eye to try to figure out the message, instead of....... the focus
