I love it here too. I don't really visit any other photography sites so it will be interesting to see what others suggest!

http://www.pentaxforums.com/forums/ for Pentax users, although there is a lot of info on there that would apply to everyone.

http://www.photozo.com/forum/index.php I joined this one this morning, and it looks to be really good. :)

There is a group on Flickr called Grit and Grain. The purpose is to get constructive critiquing. Nothing is held back and they can be very sarcastic but the group is tightly monitored and what they say makes sense, once you can get past the banter. They are brutally honest. This is a good way to learn what truly makes good and bad photography. Boy, have I got a lot to learn. ;-)

"About Grit & Grain - New Year, New Rules: Photo Essay

This is a voting and critique group for street and documentary photography. Here you are free to showcase your shots taken in any public or semi-public place - they have to be candid and with a strong human element.

Critique is Required.

The short version of the rules:

1. Only one photo in the pool at a time and only one per day.
2. Before submitting your photo, vote on every other photo in the pool. Returning later to vote on photos posted after yours is also encouraged to keep the game moving. The votes are "KEEP" if you like it and "DITCH" if you don't. Photos that reach keep10 get sent to Lucky's Club, and photos that reach ditch10 end up in the Morgue.
3. The default vote is DITCH. KEEP votes are for brilliant shots.
4. Critique is required. "Comment unto others as you would have commented unto you."
5. Don't post your photo in any other voting groups during the vote.
6. Don't block any members during the vote (they need to be able to tag).
7. Don't alter and replace your photo while voting is in process. Resubmissions for critique of the same photo are not allowed, unless the photo has undergone substantial re-editing."

The group is a closed group because there may be content not suitible for the general public so you have to search 'grit and grind'. FWIW, I've not seen anything there we haven't seen here. ;-)
