Hmm no, actually I'm too much focused on observing things around me that I don't have time for thinking about title of each photo I take. All that and moreis done in postproduction. ;)
Sometimes. If I am taking a photograph specifically for 365, then often, yes.
On a side-note, I almost always envisage the actual processing I will use on the image, before I press the shutter - I know what the photo will look like when it is finished.
@remirixjones it depends... if i'm staging something, then yes, i probably am thinking about a title... although today's shot was actually named by one of my boys :)
thinking of a title yes definitely,
probably more while I'm framing up I'm thinking of tittle... kind of makes sense because while framing Its all about the 'subject' ....then onto next photo
Depends on what I'm taking. If it is one subject indoors, like today, then I think of it while I take the photo. If I'm outside exploring I don't until I choose the photo I want to use.
Oh, yes! Sometimes the title jumps into my mind as I'm taking the shot, or a song lyric. Some pics just seem to name themselves, others need a little encouragement.
Sometimes I think of a title or a description and then go looking for something related to that to photograph! But usually, I am thinking of a description as soon as the picture is taken! Haha... youre not alone!
@remirixjones ALL THE TIME!! Well, not quite, but I can't help it! Yay, I'm not the only one ;-)
I often have a title pop into my head as I spot a scene, even before I have taken out my camera. Sometimes I have had a phrase, song title/lyrics or a title in my head and created a shot for it. There are a few where I have to think a bit longer and up until I've uploaded to come up with a fitting title.
It depends on the photo. For example, I put one up today that is actually from mid December, because all if a sudden I had something to write about it. Most of the time I take a pic and then hours later the title and story just pop into my head. While my title and story don't come right when I take the photo, I never have a hard time getting one when it's time to upload.
I sometimes "pre-plan" certain pictures such as the "gas prices" for my monthly photos or pics of myself. I just snap something interesting, then I caption "found [blank] today while I was shopping" or "went to the store". I don't do "themes" or "captions" before the picture. I am a "random snapper" :)
Except in that rare moment when my mind starts making comments on what I'm photographing, I don't think much about titles or scenes. And except for trying to get a shot everyday, I don't shoot for 365. When I'm out with the camera, it is all about just what I see and want to take with me. Before this it was flim and now with digital, the only thing in my head, is that I don't have to leave a shot behind so I don't run out of film.
On a side-note, I almost always envisage the actual processing I will use on the image, before I press the shutter - I know what the photo will look like when it is finished.
