I hated this one from the moment I shot it, while I was processing it and all the way to the moment I posted it, but it was all I could do that day. Go figure- it made the PP!
@olivetreeann it's groovy in a craptastical way though...one of them mind bending "this will break the borg collective" puzzles...oh don't mind me as I wander off into a star trek daze...hey, that thing is dangerous! :)~
I hate that photo, and I hate the clock in it. Kevin bought it for me because it's German, but he significantly misrepresents my taste in his mind. It is such an ugly clock :/ I can't wait to rehome it!
This one is awful quality. Too much light, but this was the first time I was playing with different exposures and was excited to get that effect with the lights.
I love a good craptastic photo sharing. I also love to post them so people realize that it is great to try new things but also celebrate your failures. This one really surprised me because it is so simply awful and it is in my favorite abstract style
And this has so much wrong I cannot even know where to start
@grecican, not to trash your photo, but did you think of unvignetting just a bit to give it a lighter feel to match the lightness of the donut dough? :-)
@brumbe you can trash as hard as you'd like!! and i totally didn't think about it until after i uploaded it and saw how ridiculous it looked on screen.
@grecican I did like your Seattle photo though and see nothing wrong. I always love the threads in pointing out my own flaws and think people can really connect with them. @pwallis I kind of liked that photo for the water
@brumbe the view's nice, but it just didn't come out how I wanted it to. It looks like exactly what it is - a meh iPhone shot. Why is everything in bold on this thread? It looks like everyone's shouting at each other, lol

But yet again while out of the time frame I am pretty sure you cannot top this photo. No artistic or compositional merit, inappropriate use of flash, and atrocious subject matter. This was my first photo for the project and now you can see why my book was not organized by chronological order with this as the kick off
@grecican amazingly no, but i am now craving the tots. I love the tots. Oh, I need your email to send you a soup recipe that sounds kind of gross, but actually was really good and really filling and super easy to make if you have a pan and a blender

I'd hoped to get a couple of photos at the concert I went to that night, but they didn't come out, and all I was left with was this shit shot of a bunch of ravens.
@grecican Well, this is more of a personal preference. I don't believe I gave the day or shot my best effort which is why I view it as my worst for this year. Believe me, I have worse than that in my first year. And you might think other shots from this year are worse too. It's, for the most part, a personal preference thing.
I'm still surprised at some of the things that I post that I don't think will strike a chord with people and yet do and with other shots that I think are magnificent and yet others don't see it the same way.
That's art and photography. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I absolutely hate this picture, but when I took it it was late, I was tired, and I was totally uninspired. I was watching the time click closer and closer to midnight and knew I had to make the "click" and this is what came out. Blech.
This is my worst photo because it is a shot that I snapped to text to my mom to thank her for buying my son these jammies. I didn't take any other shots that day...
Quite a few to choose from, but I hate this one even more each time I look at it. Definitely learned to check my settings before I take a picture, and that my feet are not good photo subjects.
This idea is special, inspirational, a learning experience... I think I have to put my fingers down my throat. Whatever comes up I'll photograph and post to try and catch up!!! OMG!
