Sometime i want to reach out to certain 365'ers but is there a way to do it where others won't see it? I feel like asking questions about how to do certain photos but don't want to have a whole conversation in the comment boxes under a photo.
I don't think there is a way here other than posting my email but i dont want to do that either.
@jsilver - I don't think there is a way which is a huge shame because there has been time where I have wanted to do that also. Perhaps that is something that will be added in the future.
@jsilver The usual method is to post your email address on a older photo, and then to delete the comment so it isn't viewable any more. Or do it via Flickr if you both have accounts on there.
@jsilver set up an account on gmail that you can use for photo purposes only i.e. silverphotos@gmail.com or jsilver365@gmail.com that way it is not your personal address and you do not have to worry about it that much.
@jsilver I have networked with a lot of 365'rs on Facebook...a lot of times questions about photography happens via facebook messages etc..I am sure others probably even go as far as Skype
Jase's advice is the easiest way. Pick an older photo and leave your question/reach out there with your email address. I've been on this site for a year and a half and I've left my email address in several people's comments and never gone back in to remove it. I've never had a single problem, but now I have seven 365 friends who I email separate from this site.
It may sound strange but i do like that there's no PM here :-D)))) otherwise we would all chat there, and photos (and discussions threads) would be left word-less))
i thought the ace profiles had a message system ... then how do people know how to post topic as theme winner? well either way there should be an inbox on here i agree with that
