We would like to have a new Camera Settings Challenge and we don't have a host.
The purpose of these challenges for 1) those who have previously had point n shoots to know learn the camera settings for their DSLR and stop using "auto".
2) those who may know some settings to expand their camera settings knowledge.

I'd be happy to host one of these challenges, but unfortunately I'm away from the end of this week for a couple of weeks, so would not be able to host a challenge until after I get back.
@abirkill Should we have you host challenge number 10?
You would want to keep your eyes open once the "camera settings challenge 9 vote" is posted. We try to let the winner select a host if they have one and if they can't find one within 24 hours than the back-up would post the new challenge. Do you think we could plan for you to host challenge 10 (as backup)?
Are any of you able to host a challenge? Or do you know someone who might be able to? Do any of you have any ideas? If you hosted in the past you can host a new challenge. Maybe you can suggest someone.
First one to agree gets it.
@myhrhelper Yes, that's absolutely fine -- I'm happy to act as a primary or backup host for any challenge starting after around the 12th July, so if nobody needs me for number 10, feel free to assign me for a later challenge.
@myhrhelper Kathy, I am sorry I can't do this one. I will be out of town at a graduation/ family reunion for the next week. I am happy to help for a future challenge.
@debrac Gary said he would but then it sounded to me like he wasn't going to. I don't think he was serious about doing it at this time, perhaps in the future.
@myhrhelper Kathy, I'm a bit inexperienced still, but would like to help out. Right now, I'm will most likely resemble a zombie for the next 2 weeks due to work. But after that I should be able to host if you need someone.
I agree with John @chapjohn to leave it for a week while we look for a host. I don't feel experienced enough to do it, sorry. A few people I follow who I think take wonderful photos are @beachradish, @robinwarner and @aspada. I don't know whether any of them would be willing to host at some point?
I am happy to help out but this week and next are not really good for me as I have a major photo shoot coming up that will consume all my time for the next week and a half.
@djepie Jaap Meijer has agreed to host the next camera settings challenge!
Yeah!!!
He is preparing the challenge now and will post it once he sees this message (time zone differences)
