I'm tempted by Rivington and the moors, as we did Manchester last time, I could pick people up from the station and be guide for the day, Horwich is about 25 minutes out of manchester in car or train. comments please!! tag more in if you know them.

Sorry to anyone who can't make that date but I think the majority can do the 19th August, we will have future ones so don't worry, but if people can come then they're welcome. And the Leeds contingent are welcome but fair enough if they arrange their own.

This is a high school, the nearest postcode, drive past the high school (on the right) and there is a public free carpark (Liverpool Castle) on the left about 200m on. Message me if you need picking up from train stations and don't drive, there are two trains an hour to Westhoughton from Manchester, they go from Platform 14 Piccadilly station. 2pm suits me, what do y'all think.

We did manchester city centre last time so thought we'd do country this time. hey guys, so are we all in for a meet at 2pm tomorrow in Rivington, at the Liverpool Castle car park opposite Rivington and Blackrod school? Anyone need picking up from a local station? Anyone need directions? Anyone seen the disgraceful weather forecast? I don't have y'alls emails so if I think its too wet I'll cancel on here, but that's for the sake of those travelling, if you're local then you might go up or not depending on how you feel. Unless its chucking down be cool to see y'all.

would be good to have a get together and get some fresh air. I was up rivington today and due to the past few days it is a bit muddy in places os bring waterproof coats and boots/shoes. We will go at a steady pace, it won't be a difficult walk.

@chewyteeth Myself and @mrfoxon are still hoping to come, but he had to sell his car today so if we can get picked up from somewhere that'd be grand. I'm going to head into Bolton early and make a whole day of it, so where should we get to and for when? That's assuming that someone will actually be able to give us a lift.

where do you know? I can drive into town quickly at about 1:50 and then head up. Bolton's a bit funny where you can get to with a car. Do you know the drive through Mcdonalds that used to be the Chinese Gardens restaurant, near the A58 st. helens rd. near the uni buildings. what about in the carpark there?
@chewyteeth It's okay, I've just been informed that he thought the meet up was next month, and his car isn't sold until bank holiday monday. So we're sorted again :)
the sun has been out all day. half way tp north it started to soup on the A50. 3 hours driving was worth it., just to get away from the kids if nothing else. next time we could have a plan B. and C. maybe an impromptu studio session. thanks Dave for organization! summer hey.
