I'm willing to host it...I'm not super qualified for it I don't think, but if it's a pinch, I can do it! I have lots of time on my hands so I'm available!
@socksandboots I saw your description - you are 11 years old!? Good for you to have such an interest in photography. I admire your enthusiasm but I would like to see who else volunteers since the host is suppose to be an experienced photographer. I recommend you follow the challenges you will learn a lot. It is good to see your interest in photography! I don't know what your strengths are you only have 2 pictures posted.
@myhrhelper Yeah, I figured it needed to be someone with a bit more experience than me!!! I just thought that, you know, I'm probably better than no one at all :) Yes I'm eleven, 3 months and 1 day!! ;) I can't wait to start with the challenges but my school is starting :( and I'm not sure how much time I'll have in after it starts in about a month!! @socksandboots You can do the challenges while your not going to school! That is great you want to be involved!! Have fun learning & growing in photography. Also when we do get a host feel free to be part of the camera challenge and comment on other people's pictures too. If you have a suggestion you should offer it.
I can do it if you want, it'll be good practice for me for when I start my own photography group, teaching year 9 boys in September. I took the Open University photography course last year, so I have lots of info I can base this on.

If we can have the challenge start tomorrow or Saturday and stay open for 10 days that would be great. Then a 1 or 2 day vote.
That Challenge was set up to end on midnight Sunday 12 August
You would then select a few for a vote (1 or 2 day vote). After that the winner selects the new host or does one him/herself.

The way the challenges go is the winner (after the vote from the challenge) selects who to host the next challenge (or hosts the next challenge). If you prefer to start a new challenge that is up to you! I will delete my comment that you are hosting the one that was already started. If really is up to you.
If you start a new one it should run for 10 days, if you continue to host the one that was started it would end Aug. 12th and the winner selects the next host. I will also add you to the list of people who are willing to host the challenges. I will send you a link of the format to use to start a new challenge if you wish

@myhrhelper Hang on, if Nod set it why isn't he hosting? It seems to me that he should be doing it, although I don't mind stepping in if he cant. @nod ???
@lorraineb Actually he deleted his 365 account last evening and isn't on 365 any longer. Since he was hosting two different challenges he asked someone to fill in but the person he asked for this challenge said he didn't know anything about camera settings. There was some back & forth conversations between him and someone else on some thread and I think he was upset about something (I think the comments were deleted).
