This discussion chain is to highlight the work of someone else and show a photo that you marked as +FAV (on the top of the screen) this week. Having people FAV your photo lets you know that what you did really connected with other photographers and for the new members, it really helps get that photo to the popular page. We do this post every week and it is a great way to see work you might of missed or find someone new to follow.
So find a fav from this week and include their user name and why you connected with this photo. Please don't forget to CREDIT their photo with the username!
There are two easy ways to add pictures on to the discussion.
The first is a full size photo: 1) Click on your favorite photo and bring up its page. 2)Look at the right side of your monitor, and go to the word SHARE (it is below tags) 3) go to the box and copy the long address 4) Come back to the discussion, and then paste. 5) If it is not your photo also tag the person who it belongs to so they know you love it (@name) remember no punctuation on either side of the @and name.
The second is to have a smaller file size so to keep the site from getting overwhelmed. http://365project.org/discuss/general/1323/how-to-adding-an-image-in-a-discussion.
This is such a tough choice. There were so many that were outstanding....can I pick 3, huh, huh? ;-) Seriously though this one today really hit me. This sweet little one just passed on at the age of 17 and this was one of the last photos taken of her. My thoughts go to @twain (Lindy) during this sad time.
I FAV'd more images this week than any week since I joined 365, truly amazing work in the last seven days by so many talented photographers! But my favorite of them all is this amazing macro capture by @sabine
This week... my pick goes to @asutherland1964 with his bridge shot... it's an awesome night shot and a POV of this bridge which I've never seen before. It's a major bridge in Brisbane and I've travelled over it plenty of times but this was new way to view it.
@hopess13 This would have to be one of my fav images of this past week. I love portraits. This was an awesome portrait by itself but it had that added extra, that play between the real and the created. Absolutely love it
@abhijit Thank you so much! This is my first Favorite Fav and it makes me so excited that it is a portrait, I have always struggled with people and I am making myself do it lately! :) THANK YOU!!!!
In my collection of faves this week, I notice once again that Miss Tull has another wonderful selfie. I also see that @peterdegraaff has posted a Emily selfie in this thread, so I figure one more is okay, right?
As Bruce Springsteen once prayed "Jesus, send some good women to save all the clowns".
My fave this week is by Oleta Clouse (@buggus) It's always been a dream of mine to attend one of these festivals so I'm thrilled that she shared this shot!
@dejongdd I found this one to be the most amazing US flag capture on 365, and I fav'd some amazing shots this week, but this one is definitely my favorite fav of the week
and how is it that this was not on the top 20 when it clearly had enough views and favs to land around #6 or #7 based on what is on the top 20 this week????? I declare shenanigans!
@jsw0109 10/11 Sep was the transition between weeks, and sometimes photos taken during transition fall through the cracks. I've seen it happen plenty! Hopefully it will show up on next week's list!
@grizzlysghost it would be nice to know if there is a very clear date and time that is used in the counting of favs for the purpose of top 20. I've seen shots posted on a wednesday and wound up in the top 20 2 days later due to having enough favs... this was posted before that... so I'm not convinced that Monday/Tue is the transition.
@mauri383 is a very creative talent. I look forward to seeing what he comes up with each day. He has set out to do a selfie for 365 days. You all should check out his project.
@lyno how do i reply appropriately here? i did respond but it showed up way down the page and not at where the person who posted a copy of my photo had put it. i so appreciate any assistance you can give me with this.
@cjphoto Thank you very much for choosing my photo for your favorite of someone else's shot. I'm really honored that you like the shot so much you're willing to post to others about it.
@catsmeowb You did it just right...unfortunately, it will post down the page after the last post, but by using the person's @username tag, they will see that you responded in their "Notifications" screen.
@lyno thank you. every time post to one of these things, my photo shows up and my words show up someplace else. i see that others have them post together but don't know how to do that.
