Yesterday I had a bit of a 'Day Off' for me, no inspiration and maybe a little too long socialising with my friends..
I have seen a number of discussions about show me your best, someone else's best or your best 'theme' photos and I always try and take part. So for something different today please show us the photo that you feel has been your worst one this year.
I will start with this from yesterday.
Thank you all for your continued support and comments on my photos and thanks for joining in with this 'little bit of fun'.
I've just looked for my worst and have realised I could post about 5 shots for each month - that makes roughly 45 contenders so I really couldn't choose just one or two!
@louiesphotos - I think the rule is either 1 subject, 3 or loads, nothing in between! But hey, it's great that you can see how far you have come... I have FAR too many to put one up... I'd clog up the post!
this was pretty blah...but didn't have much else for the day. I think I have a few that might be even worse from the beginning of my project, but this will do for now.
That's definitely my third photo on the project. I was is a nice city for business and didn't take my DSLR with me. The iPhone3 photo really was too bad. Since that day I take my 5D or 60D with me, even when for business.
I'm pretty happy with my project as a whole....but boy do I have one for this thread. It was for a "show me something you have made" discussion

Sometimes, I think it's just better to leave a blank space, than to post something that will haunt you for the rest of your project!! In my case, I'm glad I posted them....because I can always pull them out when threads like this come up!
This one is h.o.r.r.i.b.l.e and it kills me how many good comments it got. Thanks guys, you're all superstars! lol
And this one. It takes the cake. I hate it so much I love it!
There are so many...so I didn't go back too far as I could post my first 3-4 months here. But here is one that is semi recent that I wish was not in my project
Other people like it but I dont like this one. The texture I put on it just looks like theres loads of muck on my lens. Light was too bright when I took it. I think I'd like it the other way round with soft blossoms in focus and strong coloured buds behind, and maybe some decent sky that doesnt need a texture over it.
And maybe instead of stealing shots I could go and ask my neighbours if I can photog in their garden, they have some lovely plants including a magnolia called star wars which is a show stopper

Mine is more a "in the moment" shot......taken in Japan while sitting on the toilet (gawd, i WISH i was joking)....it is a sign on HOW TO flush the toilet.......but very cryptic if you don't read Japanese! lmao.....
Close up of somebody else's work; both the poster, and the unknown joker's eye stickers. My close crop leaves me no credit at all. I wish I could do it all over again.
@gphelps5 The thread already had me laughing to tears, and then I read your typo!: "& Mike - What can a say, I have literally just laughed out loud and my wife is starting to wonder what I do on her each day..." And in response to a deer anus too! ROFL!
Ok...so I never really liked this one at all, but it was the best of the bunch that day... looking back at my bad ones is like opening an old wound I'd forgotten about!
@m9f9l - It is a funny thread and thank for pointing out my typo. Now I could edit it and make you look silly or keep it and continue to make me look silly???
@meagang - I have never understood football, but I am loving the subtle shades on the second one.
@aleksandra - Sorry about the old wounds... this is fun though.
This is one I wasn't too happy with. I was having a rough day, didn't get out with my camera enough, and shot this out my passenger side window while driving.
Let me just say I have tears streaming down my cheeks from laughing so hard. My worst photo would probably be this selfie from last week. Wowie, not my best angle:). One of these days I hope to have a pretty selfie on here!
@pschtyckque - Oh dear Chris, how gay does he look. You would have thought he would let Colonel Sanders sit on the seat?
@amandalomonaco - This thread has made a lot of people laugh and that is a good thing... Nice shot, reminds me a bit of the Mikes whippet further up this thread?
@olivetreeann - I have to agree Ann, that is not good.
I had so many former disasters in mind, but I went with the first that caught my eye on a long-past calendar date. Seeing it, I think it's well-past high time I learn something about "The Golden Hour" as I'll be doing the next week or two!
May I add that, on so may threads of exquisite photos, I feel terribly inferior. This was a brilliant choice, @bulldog to humble ourselves together and get on with the show!
