I came across this little snake that is about 12-20 inches long and about half an inch wide. It's head is almost squared and boy it slides so fast. Google gave me this link which I think is close but I don't know.
Not sure that this is a White Crowned Snake as suggested by @thebluegnu because the WCS is an Australian snake and I don't think you've shot this in Oz? Also, the markings are not strictly the same as the WCS, having less of a 'crown'. Could you tell us where you shot this pic. so that we can narrow it down a little?
Big thanks for the help, I took this shot yesterday and I am from the Philippines. The Google link really does look quite close but I am not really familiar with snakes. The specimen on the link says that it is a Philippine Wolf Snake but there could be other (poisonous) snakes right.
@ggg Yes, definitely a Philippine Wolf Snake going by Google Images. It's fortunately non-venomous. Quite a pretty snake, actually, and nothing to be worried about.
