The answer to this question may be out there somewhere but I haven't found it. One of my pics has been commented on and a question has been asked about it. Other than adding another comment is there a way to email the asker to answer the question?
I don't know about a direct e-mail, but you could click on the other person's profile pic and make a comment on their own page ... That way, you know they will get it as an e-mail. I would probably put it in both places. (Others might like to know the answer to the question, as well!)
