I put a collection of shots together of the bandstand in Northampton Square which is outside my university. I managed to get the complete four-season set!
I have a whole album devoted to photographing the same tree at different times of the year. It is called 'same tree, different sky' Here are a few examples from it:
bench-life
Which started out as my shots of a particular bench in London. Then other 365ers joined in snapping the bench, some travelling across the Atlantic! Now the tag includes other bench lives from around the world.
@gphelps5
I often take the same shot from my window. Some are before my 365 days and I have collaged them tagged 'trees from my window' but no where near as good as the shots above
@jantan nice, I had a tree like that on my way to work that I took many photos of. They cut it down to plow a field. I was so sad they took my tree. Yours is beautiful.
I'm actually doing a separate project on this, for a whole year: http://www.blipfoto.com/Cheesebiscuit (yes, I'm a bit behind on my uploads at the moment...). The scene isn't that interesting, and it doesn't take any creativity in terms of the shots, but it had to be somewhere close to where I work so I could do it each week. I'm mostly interested in watching that tree change through the year.
This thread inspired me to make a collage I was planning to do for long, but never did. The view from my house has nothing special or beautiful, but the sky sometimes makes it more interesting than it is :-)
I'm doing this photo once a month for a year and making a collage at the end. I also have a same view every season project going on, but none of them are uploaded here and I haven't completed it yet.
hi.. believe it or not I have devoted an entire album to a years worth of one shot.... Mt. Moosilaukee.... I started it Jan 19, 2012 and just recently changed it to a weeping willow located in my yard...
I thought it would be cool to see the evolution of the mountain in one year, and it IS interesting, except life got in the way and there are several gaps...!! we'll watch the change in the weeping willow and I'll fill the gaps in the Moosilaukee album with the hopes of making a poster w/the 365 days!!!
I've been shooting the same tree for over a year now. It's my Same Tree Different Day Series
@gphelps5 Great idea for a thread, chuffed that you included mine too, thank you :)

@jantan this place looks perfect for these shots! The sky must be different everyday!

This Old House
This Old House taken today in the rain/fog/trying to snow but not really sure what it's going to do :)
