Lines through photos

Hi... please help me if you can!!!

Today when I loaded my photo's to my pc, about one in every five had horrid stripes through it...

Does anyone know... could these come from a faulty SD card, SD Card reader, pc, or is it my camera?

I would guess it's the card. Try a different one (it's the cheapest option) and if it still occurs then it's time to get the camera checked!

@steampowered Thanks Paul, that's a good idea, :) if it happens again, I'll get a new SD card, it is the cheapest option!I just went out and took a whole load more shots, and they are all fine... my brother also seems to think it might be the SD card, or he though maybe my SD card reader... or perhaps... the images just "transferred" badly... fingers crossed it won't happen again! Gave me a horrible nightmare feeling! :(

@sianipops Thanks Nia, my next set of shots are all okay, so hopefully it was a once of problem occurring when the images were moved from my camera to my pc... thanks... I did get some "line free" images of this shot, so I'm pleased! :)
