Today marks the completion of a personal challenge; To take photos every day for an entire year. Some days such as when I was ill taking a photo was the last thing I wanted to do, but once I captured a moment a sense of satisfaction always followed.
I started down this path with a simple goal, improving my photography skills, what I got out of it is much more. Now everywhere I look I see the world with a sense of wonder that was lost once I grew out of childhood. All these little details that were normally dismissed because of the rushing about life now call to me. It is all these little things that all add up to make this world a special place.
The new people that I have met and the existing ones that stood by me, all provided inspiration. Every person adds to the interesting fabric of life. In the next year I will strive to capture more of this human aspect of the world around us.
