July 27th, 2014
This one for me, easy choice this week, my favourite shot I've taken for some time
July 27th, 2014
So excited to end my 1st year with this photo!
July 27th, 2014
Has to be my Window to Nothing from my b&w architectural detail theme

July 27th, 2014
@wearing0 Aaaw so cute! Off to fav it!
July 27th, 2014
Just because it's not a subject that I'm generally comfortable photographing.
July 27th, 2014
I posted this in my 100happydays album, cannot decide which is my favourite this week...

July 27th, 2014
This was a slow week for me photography wise. So that makes it somewhat easier.
July 27th, 2014
July 27th, 2014
Stunning capture @genealogygenie well done!
July 27th, 2014
Feeling better about my b&w's
July 27th, 2014
My poor squirrel doesn't have the concept of hide and seek perfected yet.
July 27th, 2014
I think this one
July 27th, 2014
really liked how this turned out ...!!

July 27th, 2014
This one for me - the hoverfly kindly posed!!

July 27th, 2014
Had this planned and it worked out.
July 27th, 2014
Not quite such a hot dog!

July 27th, 2014
Hard to pick so I'll go with this one of my daughter after losing some more teeth!

July 27th, 2014
I had fun this week with a series of Tom Thumb pictures but my favorite has to go back to the beginning of the week.
July 27th, 2014
gettting creative without going too crazy.. I'm really a bit of a minimalist when it comes to processing i think..!
July 27th, 2014
@kimcrisp Thanks so much Kim!
July 27th, 2014
This is not my usual type of image
July 27th, 2014
July 27th, 2014
This is not my best photo of the week, but it's my favorite. This is my friend, Tico, the street musician, who desperately needs a kidney transplant. I so hope there's someone who will come forward to help him.
July 27th, 2014
I enjoy long exposures and this worked well despite the creek being low on water

July 27th, 2014
At this point, I think I'm required to pick this one. ;)

July 27th, 2014
The muted greens were a nice backdrop to the details of the sunflower I thought.

July 27th, 2014
I wish one day to go to gigs and festivals with my DSLR, but this weekend I had to settle for my PowerShot and iPhone. This is an iPhone shot, maybe not the perfect quality, but I still love it. Plus the band in the pic (a Finnish band called Apulanta) played an awesome gig at Qstock-festival!

July 27th, 2014
My favourite shot of the week is this one which I posted as part of the group I belong to called the Paula Project.
July 27th, 2014
My first attempt at capturing the Milky Way Galaxy. I was quite pleased with the result.
July 27th, 2014
This was my favorite - slightly different than ones I've been taking.
July 27th, 2014
I've been enjoying the sunshine this week.

July 27th, 2014

Just find this SHOT deadly!!:)
July 28th, 2014

July 28th, 2014
July 28th, 2014
This is my fave for a number of reasons. I've been thinking about this pic for some time. I just needed a reason to set it up! I took 6 shots. They were all great! I like it when it all seems to come together effortlessly!

July 28th, 2014

This is my favorite photo of the week for two reasons: I like the colors and I was able to blur the background in processing for the first time with this photo. I never knew how to do this stuff before 365!
July 28th, 2014
I really like the light in this one, with the crack of light on the clouds and the colours on the water.
July 28th, 2014
I just liked this one -- particularly the bright spot in the wood mulch above the leaves, even though it attracted no comments or even views. It was for the "shooting blind" technique challenge and was taken putting the camera over the fence and shooting down -- so it was taken somewhat by chance.

July 28th, 2014
I have never seen this behavior from a squirrel before.
July 28th, 2014
Was pleased with how this looked in black and white
July 28th, 2014
July 28th, 2014
This little guy, definitely!

Visited Ypres in Belgium which saw some horrific battles in the First World War. There is a large monument in the town with the names of 55,000 soldiers inscribed on it who were killed over 4 years. I found this small spot with the names of Australian soldiers, and where someone had put a small Australian flag. I'm not Australian myself, but I found this so very moving and powerful
July 28th, 2014
I wouldn't pretend this is technically the best shot in the world, but I liked the POV and contrast:

July 28th, 2014
This is mine, because I've been trying to get panning right for ages:

July 28th, 2014

new style of processing for me & change of surroundings :o) love this image
July 28th, 2014
Oldie but goodie: April in Paris 1964
July 28th, 2014
Of all the pics I've taken this week, this was the ONE that I KNEW, the moment I looked in the viewfinder, that it was going to be a good shot.

July 28th, 2014
most controversial story in my project so far
July 28th, 2014
My first low light image taken with the iphone 5S:

July 28th, 2014

Great shot highlighted here! Love to see everyone's favorites!

DSP
I'm very happy with how this long exposure nighttime shot came out. It didn't receive quite as much attention as I had wanted, but I felt that this is one of my better works.
July 28th, 2014

I chose this one because it involved a sense of discovery for me. I could have easily walked by the mirror without pausing to notice the image at the bevel in the mirror.
July 28th, 2014
@elainelk Thank you Elaine.
July 28th, 2014
probably this one from my hiking/camping trip in northern arizona:
July 28th, 2014
I love the architectural design.

July 28th, 2014
July 28th, 2014
I like this one, mostly because I learned so much about the flower afterward. And the focus worked!

July 28th, 2014
This weed gone to seed proved popular this week.

July 28th, 2014
Yes, the billionth dragonfly photo this summer. This little meadowhawk landed on the yellow bird's foot trefoil bloom right in front of me. I had a loooong lens on (looking for hawks), and I had to keep backing away from the dragonfly to get a shot. I do love the dragonflies!

July 28th, 2014
I had a lot to choose from this week, especially after I walked over the bridge, but I'll take this one.

July 28th, 2014
July 28th, 2014
This is mine. It took four visits to the pond...and I was so close to the water's edge in my work clothes ..... I am finding dragon flies such hard work to capture, I am sure they are all staging a vendetta against me LOL
July 28th, 2014
Was fun trying to make a different sunset photo from most that I see.
July 28th, 2014
I'm such a sucker for birds and this one is especially special to me - it's one of the juvenile eagles that our area had a webcam on since it was in an egg - there were 3 eagles hatched and all three survived and are thriving. We got to watch them grow up and now talk about empty nest syndrome! This was also the first time I actually went to the nest area and was thrilled at this flight capture. *sheds tear*

July 28th, 2014
@wearing0 This is so cute!
July 28th, 2014
@888rachel Beautiful combination of colours and shapes.
July 28th, 2014

July 28th, 2014

I was happy to catch the president passing by.

July 29th, 2014

I've been practicing taking Pooch pictures and have software now to convert to B&W.
July 29th, 2014
Not my most popular but probably the one I like best:
July 29th, 2014
I liked the simplicity of this one.
July 29th, 2014
July 29th, 2014
July 29th, 2014
I'm a sucker for doors, and this shot combines doors with urban decay
July 29th, 2014
My favourite because I like the shot, also it reminds me of my dad who loved to grow dahlias. This one is called fairy queen:

July 29th, 2014
@tina_mac

Joy!!!
July 29th, 2014
Pea
This one because of her genuinely happy expression and her pose!
July 29th, 2014
This one not only because it's touching but also because I was lucky to shoot her again after an year.

July 29th, 2014
This was an extra, but my cousin found this wing and we played around with the lighting. I liked the result.

July 29th, 2014

just love the emotion
July 30th, 2014

Not the most favored pic I posted this week but gosh I was excited to have caught this shot :)
July 30th, 2014
