I took this one yesterday. Although it's a collage, I spent a lot of time on the composition and processing of each one, so they worked cohesively as a set. I love urban scenes and although I live in the countryside, I am actually more inspired by the grittiness of cities : seeing the beauty in the ugly.
I love doing creative shots that make you think about how to achieve them, this was one of those. it is virtually SOOC apart from straightening and cropping square.
It was tie between this one, and my Super Moon photo but since the Super Moon photo was really taken the 10th, this one won. Besides this one has a better story behind it.
This one I think. Branching out into portraits when I can get models or friends to pose. The strong edge highlight, too broad to be considered classic low key for sure, worked nicely.
For sentimental reasons, this collage I put together from shots I took of the TV screen while watching an old videotape of a younger me with the little puppet an even younger me was given when in kindergarten and named it Jimmy. I still have Jimmy and still have a soft spot in my heart for him.
Well, it looks like I was a week behind. I see I posted it on the August 7th spot. Nonetheless, it pleases me.
This was my first picture posted months after my last one. I have been so crazy busy with work, school and my mom who has been ill. I feel like I missed the summer, but this picture made me smile a big summer smile :)
This was my favourite shot of a visit to a tram museum on a rainy day. I liked it because as a former journalist I always endeavoured to describe in the scene around me with an image to accompany the words, but it received little mention on 365 as most members preferred the more 'photographic' image (below), so much so that it reached the PPage! It just shows how difficult it is to judge one's own work accurately.
I love this photo as it was the day I learned to appreciate flowers and it reminds me of an umbrella. It would be nice to have an umbrella bright yellow looking like a flower.
No more Mr Nice Ted
Because I am really enjoying macro work and seeing how close I can get.
I love this photo for the emotion and story it tell's... this little guy just learning to walk and the big wide world it all ahead for him...
Frogmato strikes again
Because everyone needs a push now and then...and my little frog helped

Because it's something new and different for me and I feel inspired again.
my favourite because this portriat got me to the trending page.
Been away from 365 for awhile, only shot I have up for the week!

Because I love her happy smile!
Because I captured my first hummingbird this summer, now to catch him in flight!
I liked the way the palms looked against the setting sun and the clouds. Almost has a tropical feel to the shot.
I liked this one most because I have been waiting for some time to get a reflection of the London Eye.
This one is my fav for that week as I don't think I can lie on the frosty lawn for that long again!
