Sites for processing photos

I would like to know where others have their photos processed. I use Picmonkey to edit and have been using Shutterfly to have them developed but have found that Shutterfly more often than not cuts off the outside framing.

Hi Sue. I see you shoot with a 1mp camera. Not a problem of course with display on the Internet, but perhaps they don't print all that well? You did mention in your profile you might consider another camera, and I would agree. I think you would be super surprised at the difference when you print. There are any number of modern P&S (point and shoot) cameras under US$250, and if your budget extended to $400, some excellent "bridge" cameras.

If I don't print myself on my Canon PRO-10, I get them processed by Unique Photo in New Jersey. They have an excellent professional staff and state of the art technology. Their prices seem most reasonable and they do have a very reliable mail order delivery in the US and Canada. Sorry that I don't know where you reside in the world. http://www.uniquephoto.com/photo-lab-services/

Welcome to 365. I see you have just started to post. I hope you get as much out of this site as I have over the last 2 years.

I get all of mine printed at iprintfromhome.com . I love their quality, their prices are good, they're quick and they contact me if there's a problem with anything I upload.
(and they do great deals from time to time!)
OH! and if you sign up through them, you'll get a paper sampler pack/calibration set, and pretty soon that will include a picture of my adorable son! I was one of the winners of the contest for that privilege a month or so ago :D

(if you sign up, please let them know that Charla Virkler referred you. I would recommend them even without this, but they do reward me for sharing their information with others) http://iprintfromhome.com/

I had some pics printed at Walgreens. They were very good, very professional. It was easy and inexpensive to.

I normally use microsoft office picture to preview, auto correct and/or crop. If I need more I use Gimp.

I use proam for "proper" prints ....... their quality is fabulous. You do have to embed their printer profile into your image though which can be a paid until you get used to it. Otherwise I print at home.
