This is definitely not the best photo I took over the last week, but it's my favourite because I had a great weekend - I did a two day dry stone walling course!
Really love my week. I had to choose from 4favourites! But I'm going with this one, because it's one of my personal all-time favourites! Taken back in 2006 with my first digital camera, little point-and-shoot Panasonic Lumix.
I am happy with this because I nearly didn't go to see the poppies but was very pleased that I did because they were so much more spectacular than I imagined.
It was a cross between this one or the soaring hawk picture, but most of you that know me know that I love birds so I figured I'd post something different - I love the way this one turned out! Another one of God's gorgeous creatures.
Not my best week in a good month but I like this shot of my village square as it shows the emptiness of the season between the big ones of summer and winter. The colours of summer linger on but the feeling of autumn is around the corner.

Patience paid off all round!
This was an amazing up-close encounter with a hawk that made my heart pound!
Bright colourful shot
This one for me, I love sunflowers and was pleased with the focus on this
I love peppers, and I had fun working with them.
because it was a quick shot but effective
Going up to the Spirit in the Sky. One of my favourite old songs
My gorgeous sky shot that made the popular page!
My content little pup getting her tummy rubbed.
Not my best shot from this week but I love how I captured him playfully running around the house.
Never done this before, so hope the picture shows!

I had a good week this week but chose this as I liked the effect of B&W and it is not something that I use much.
This one stood out for me because of the mix of greens and the DOF
This one is my favourite. He's my dearest and this picture calms me down.
