Just a question, as this has got me caught up a couple of times now..
Why is there no notification email when you get mentioned in a post? I see one for favs, and comments, but not for mentions. At the end of the day, the mentions are probably the most important to me, as if I'm mentioned somewhere other than my own posts, it can be hard to know/find out.
I know there is the notification items at the top, but that can get awful clogged up, and only shows for a few days it seems.
Just a question/comment. Maybe I'm missing something?
If people mentioning you make sure to include the @ symbol, so it shows up as @drfleury14 instead of Dan, you should get notification that you have been mentioned.
@allie912 It only gives you a notification on the website, as Dan @drfleury14 said. It doesn't generate an e-mail. I've often wondered about this as well, since it feels like a bug that's easily corrected.
