Sounds about right!
October 8th, 2014
Sooo true !
October 8th, 2014
I know most of these too :D
October 8th, 2014
yep i can relate to this.
October 8th, 2014
When you're willing to run down the street barefoot in your robe in the wee hours of the morning lugging a camera on tripod so you can capture a lunar eclipse.
October 8th, 2014
When you bring your camera everywhere....including to the dentist office ! @lisabell I can't believe I missed the Blood Moon! Great link @taffy .My biggest joy is making crap look good!
October 8th, 2014
I think I'm half a photographer :-)
October 8th, 2014
Great link - it looked a bit too familiar!! LOL!!
October 8th, 2014
I bailed on my run this morning to get shots of the moon. I don't think the dog is happy about it.
October 8th, 2014
Very perceptive !!!!
October 8th, 2014
You mean there's a reason to travel other than to take pictures of the places you go? LOL! Yep, this describes me. Except it doesn't say, will do anything to get the perfect picture. My kids are always complaining because I'm always stopping to take picture! LOL!
October 8th, 2014
yup! i can relate!!
October 8th, 2014
Yes I can identify with that
October 8th, 2014
Yes, I can relate! :) Thanks for sharing!
October 8th, 2014
Sounds about right...especially the travel bit!!
October 8th, 2014
@mzzhope Unfortunately, I blew it! I’ve shot the moon before, but not at slower shutter speeds so mine were blurry. I should have done my research! Live and learn!
October 9th, 2014
I relate to some, my camera is an extension of my arm...lol.
October 9th, 2014
MB
I am definitely an 8!
October 9th, 2014
YEP! 100% correct! Add #9. You get ticked off when people win prizes for photos they've taken with their PHONES. :)
October 9th, 2014
Yup- I especially related to #3. Rust, peeling paint, you name it!
October 9th, 2014
Well apparently I AM a photographer! ;~} Who knew?!
October 9th, 2014
@lisabell I can relate to that, I sometimes wonder what the neighbors think about the crazy lady wandering around the yard in p.j.s early on a Saturday or Sunday morning!
October 9th, 2014
ok - i have NEVER had anyone criticize my camera... ask questions, sometimes really stupid questions (does your camera take good pictures?), but never criticize it... what's up with that?
October 9th, 2014
@northy agreed. It should have listed having someone say: "Wow your CAMERA takes good pictures."
October 9th, 2014
@northy @mzzhope True...I wondered at that one, though I've had people say that my camera really does well. Yep...we all have I suspect. I could think of more and have enjoyed the thread seeing what others have added.

@lisabell Haha! Or setting an alarm for 4:00 in the morning so you can get up and see if you have a good enough view to stay up... [though I admit, I went back to sleep, totally wimping out of a good photo op]

@homeschoolmom Totally agree...photography is WHY we travel, isn't it?
October 9th, 2014
I can relate to all those points - and some more too, such as sitting outside on the deck in the dark wearing pjs and taking shots of the blood moon.
October 9th, 2014
Great article, we can all relate I'm sure. I try not to be offended when someone says my camera take nice photos... obviously they can't get the same from their camera so it has to be the camera's fault, right?
October 9th, 2014
Loved this Taffy. I am on the way to being a photographer that's for sure...... Thanks for sharing
October 9th, 2014
Yip. rings true.
October 9th, 2014
I can really relate to this! And my hubby is madly nodding.
October 9th, 2014
Sue
Oh, definately :P
October 9th, 2014
Hehehehe I think most 365ers can relate to this :)
October 9th, 2014
I don't get this : "For instance, maybe you decide to go for a walk down to the beach and accidentally leave your camera sitting on the kitchen bench."
Whaaaaat? It's possible to get out of a house/cabin/tent, whatever *without* taking one? Really??
October 9th, 2014
@dulciknit Surely not! They must have meant, 'someone rudely distracts you' or 'someone claims to have grabbed your camera for you'!
October 9th, 2014
yup, all very relatable.
October 9th, 2014
Just read it to my hubby too who totally agrees. Thanks for sharing.
October 10th, 2014
He's got my measure, wife can't understand why I get up at 05:00 to walk to the beach - 45 min - to capture the sunrise. What's wrong with that ??
October 10th, 2014
@bankmann Those are great links! Fun to see some familiar names too...
