I'm not sure if I am worrying unnecessarily, but it has been a while since Leana has posted from her travels round the world by bike. Is anyone in touch with her directly?
I follow her on FB too. She headed from Jamaica to Cuba for a month. She knew internet was very limited there and wasn't going to be online much. Her last FB post from Jamaica was on Oct 28 and said:
"So off to Cuba I go. Cuba is situated a mere 90 miles North of Jamaica, but the cheapest flight I could find goes via Panama!! As far as I can ascertain, there is no internet in Cuba so I will report back in a months time."
I'm really looking forward to her Cuba pictures in a couple of weeks.
@mcrt Mike, she has actually posted from Cuba, but her last post was a picture of Cuban cigars on November 3. Hopefully, it is only sporadic internet access. I am also looking forward to her posts.
@panthora I forgot that she had posted a couple of pictures on here after her most recent FB post. If you're going to find internet access it would be in the big city of Havana. Probably more difficult in rural areas.
@pixiemac wow it's just funny you should post that Sarah. Just this morning I looked to see when her last post was because I too had a flash of fear for her. I think we'll all be happy to see her next photos.
I have worried about her a little know the lack of internet access might prevent us from knowing if she were in trouble or not. I guess we must be patient.
