It is with great sorrow that I pass the below email on from Sue's Family.
She was a excellent photographer and a friend who was a member of my photo group - Sharpshooters

Hi Joseph,
By way of introduction I am Sue's son, Jason.
Dad has asked me to get in contact with you to let you know that about 10 days ago, mum's health took a rapid decline, and unfortunately last night she passed away. I believe that she was very proud to be a part of your group, so thank you. Over the last couple of years, while she has been ill, her photography has been more than a distraction for her, and i'm sure that you understand that people like yourself and the International Sharp Shooters group, and the 365ers, had become part of her life, and your support and encouragement for each other was been a spark that kept her going.
My deepest sympathies to the family. I am glad to hear that you and our community here on 365 was such a good part of her life. I'm praying for their comfort and strength at this time.
That is so sad...she was such a beautiful person and I glad I had the privileged to met Sue & her husband briefly when I was travelling near her hometown in May 2014. I will miss her amazing photos.
My sympathies & thoughts to her husband and to her family.
sincere condolences to the family and friends of sue wilde. i know for a fact she is one of the well-respected photographers in this community. know that she will be missed.
Oh how terribly sad. She was always so wonderful at taking the time to comment and look at my project and also a fantastic photographer. We shall miss her. My thoughts are with you and the rest of her family.
I was wondering how she was doing, as I had missed her photos and her voice over the last few weeks, so I hear this sad news with regret. My condolences to her family. Sue was a wonderful photographer. She was also a generous and cheerful participant in 365. To @jml0306... please let her family know how much she will be missed and how grateful we are to have shared in her talent.
I am feeling sick about this. I have not been able to comment on others' pics much as of late, but the years I was on here daily, Sue was such a good friend. I lived her pics and seeing her side of the world. She was quite funny at times too. I was not aware she was ill. She was very brave and positive, obviously. She will be missed.
I am shocked and saddened by this news. Sue was such a great photographer - I enjoyed seeing her pics when she was able to post and she was always so encouraging. I will miss her and her beautiful pictures.
I have been worrying about Sue for the last week and was hoping her family would let us know when this day came. So, so sad, she was still so positive when she was obviously so sick. To echo Sue's words, she was a great mate... a wonderful 365er.
I have known Sue since the early 1990's and stayed once with her at her home at Milthorpe. She was greatly loved and admired by those who worked with her teaching prisoners in the correctional system, and had a staunch commitment to rehabilitation. Over many years she also contributed immensely to the fight for the betterment of teaching conditions and improved funding. Hers was a great soul, compassionate, commited to helping others and will be deeply missed. A very sad day.
A Beautiful soul and friend lost... I am so privileged to have known her in person.. To Marshall and her family my heartfelt love .... Keep clicking Sue x
so sorry to hear this sad news and deep condolences to her family. Sue was one of the first 365'ers who really encouraged me. I've missed her on 365. Fly high Sue x
What tragic news; I too did not know that she was ill. She was always so positive and a great support and mentor when the mentorship started last year and I had not long started on 365. She seemed caring and funny. I am pleased that she managed to get her travels in last year when she went to India with the family. My heartfelt condolences to her family. This is very upsetting to hear.
I have been really worried about Sue this last week or so and was really hoping this news wasn't coming. I will miss her a lot and send my deepest condolences to her family. RIP my friend xx
So sad to read this news this morning. Sue was such a great inspiration and support to me. My thoughts are with her family who must be devastated. Sue will be greatly missed on 365!! Rest in peace.
Oh my goodness. I understood that she was ill but she always seemed to have a bright word to say and comment on our pictures. This is such sad news to us all. She will be greatly missed, my thoughts and prayers are with her family.
Such sad news. Sue's pictures were always so beautiful and I have many of them on my favourite list. Thinking of Sue, her friends and family at this sad time.
Very sorry to hear this sad news. Sue was always so positive and encouraging and it is clear from those above who knew her well that she was one of those special people who gave so much more than she took in life. My sincere condolences to Sue's family and friends, may she rest in peace.
I am so sad to hear this. Sue was one of my favorite friends on 365 - in addition to being a great photographer, she was so encouraging and always made me laugh. She was a lovely person and will be missed. I am praying for her family during this most difficult time.
I'm sure that we are all sorry to hear such sad news and I know that we shall be thinking of her family. The world will be a lesser place without her. Please pass on my heartfelt condolences to her family.
Oh no, I'm terribly sad to read this news about Sue. She was a regular commenter on my photographs and more often than not, brought a smile to my face. Please pass on my condolences to her family. The world has lost an artist who appreciated the beauty in all she saw. She was an inspiration to me and will be missed. Rest in peace, Sue.
I'm so shocked and sad to hear this. Sue was always there to comment on my photos and was always so positive. I loved seeing the way she photographed nature and her lovely family and friends. My deepest of condolences to her family.

Would it be OK to suggest a thread of our favorite photos from her as a small tribute to her on here?
