How often does this get up-dated? My list doesn't seem to have changed in the last six months despite views and favs. Certainly not a criticism and am aware of quirky 'goings on' but just wondered why none of my recent and 'popular' photos aren't making an appearance in the list ... or is it just me?
I've been wondering, too. I recently had a photo get more comments and favs than any of my others, but it's not in my top 10 yet. I'll be watching to see if anyone knows the answer!
@motherjane I've never figured it out. I have ones that are far more popular in terms of views and favs than probably 6 or 7 of the 10 listed. But they have never shown up. I've been on 2 1/2 years and haven't figured that particular stat out.
@byrdlip Thank you for this. I have read it before and it did go some why to explaining the 'system' behind photographs appearing on the Trending and Popular Pages but I thought the 'Your Top Rated' list operated on a more definite system. I mean once the favs and comment numbers are registered surely your Top Ten should be up-dated - perhaps monthly or quarterly. Otherwise what is the point of having a top rated list when few of your most popular photos appear on it?
I had only one photo that made it to the TOP TWENTY with over 100 favs and over 370 views in March 2015. It only made it to the NO 6 in the Top Rated Photos. Rest of my popular photos only have 10-20 favs with average of 40 views. So Explain that to me!!!
The top twenty rules have changed. There was a post a few months ago and it's based on individual comments/favs based on your own average. And it's one per each person now.
@susanalena Thank you. I don't mean the official TT (if I ever reach those heady heights I will be thrilled/amazed) No, I am referring to our individual Top Rated photos list that appear in ACE statistics.
Mine has recent photos on it. I think it has something to do with how quickly the stats pile up, as it were. If people view and fav it quickly, vice over a few days, then it is higher rated? Just a thought.
@motherjane And if you look at how the photos are rated, why do some photos show up higher when lower rated ones have more views, comments and favs? I look at it as having to constantly improve my photography.

I know what you mean Jane as I have been watching mine recently. Only because I had one with more comments and fav than I have had on most and wondered where it was placed on my top 10 but it has not materialised at all. It seems as if this system has gone by the wayside which is a shame.
