365 Reboot?

November 18th, 2015
I started my 365 Project on my Birthday, March 4th and this is my third year. I think however I would like to change my start date for my next one to January 1rst and therefore do a whole calendar year from beginning to end. Has anyone else done that? Would I have to delete any albums to start a new one before this one was technically completed?

you should check your account settings to see how many albums you're able to run on your project. simply click on "account settings" then click on the "albums" tab. on the left panel it will tell you how many albums you're able to have on your project. i suspect you're able to run at least one more album. you can then add a fourth album to start on january 1st. you do not have to delete any of your on-going albums and you can continue to post on your other albums as well.

Not sure. If you do the 4th album thing, it wouldn't be your main album and anybody looking at your profile would be guided to your "old" album.
Maybe just sign up again with a different name?

From my understanding you can choose which album comes up as your default album. There have been a number of people over the years that start a new album every year and that new album is their default album. The settings will be found under your profile.

@summerfield is perfectly correct. Go to account settings and click on albums. There you can name your album and choose the default. There is absolutely no need to sign up again.

@irisn in your account settings you can choose your default album so no need to create a new profile if you want a different album to be your default album. As an ace member this is available to you.

Although I don't want to be a quitter; I would stop my current project so that it would be normal calendar year. I started on my birthday because I had only read about 365 Project after we were already into a new year. Going throught he seasons more choronically to have compete year seems to me to be advantageous.

Thanks for your reply. I will keep up my current project--if I change my mind I will just continue with it and keep going the way i had been; but I really think I'm leaning towards a complete chronological year.

@tomsde depends on how many albums you have. I did two years under one album, then started fresh in a new album. I started on a new year, the too a break, started in second year on my birthday. Now I have a different album for year three (where I don't post daily really).
