This is not my best photo from the past week but it's my favourite because it was such a great day! I live far away from the coast so a trip to the seaside is always exciting and I had a great day of rock pooling at the lovely Treardurr Bay in Anglesey (Wales).

These were fun to see in person at "Crypticon" in Kansas City and after I cropped and converted to B&W, I liked the way they looked. I only took a few photos this year in KC. I'll have to make up for it in October at the Minnesota Crypticon.

I like this one because I don't often see a whitethroat although I hear them quite a bit down Wood Lane. Not necessarily a great shot but I liked the bird surrounded by the greenery.

Has to be this one of my granddaughter. Really trying to improve my portraits AND figure out how to edit them. Thanks to the incredible patience and talent @frankhymus has for teaching, after editing this one a couple times over the course of 3 days, it really turned out better than I ever thought it would!
