I just loved how the web looks like water, and the spider is looking into the yellow flowers... the detail, colors and lighting really turned out well I think.
I was really pleased that I consciously went out with the intent to execute the "foreground, middleground, background" composition idea. I actually think I found front-middle and back-middle as well as the other two. Executing the concept is a lot easier with a cropped-sensor camera than full-frame, making me understand that FF isn't always the ideal camera to be shooting with, and makes me think again about the D7100/7200 unique advantages for certain shots....
Just posted this on Sunday and I'm choosing it because it's the first photo I've actually taken for ages! I'm trying to get some enthusiasm back and it felt good to just take a camera out and get some shots.
