My favourite was finding fallen horse chestnuts on the first day of Autumn...
My favourite was the perfect maple leaf in the rain:
It's my favourite because I love how it turned out but it also shows that you don't necessarily have to go far for a great shot. This was taken on my lunch, on a rainy Friday, strolling around the parking lot. I even had a security guard stop me because he saw me crouching down to get the shot.... he couldn't figure out what I was doing. :-)
@Taffy and I took a photo class in Hawaii. I'm still struggling with learning Lightroom and this is my best effort of this Milky Way shot, of which I have hundreds of versions. So wishing I could go back to Aperture which I could process in my sleep -- oops, you didn't hear me thinking that!
Here's mine -- see @jyokota 's above. We had such a great time getting this wonderful opportunity to photograph the Milky Way over the boiling cauldron in Volcano National Park, Hawaii.
This is my favorite -- guess I've got a little grunge in me! Just looking through these favorites reminds me again of the incredible 365 community. Thank you for your inspiration!
I think it has got to be this Dipper, I wanted a decent photo of one of these amazing birds, I think this qualifies.
This one I took today...
This turned out as I hoped it would showing the colours of early autumn

Was amazed how well it came out as the movement of the boat and the length of the zoom made results almost impossible to predict.
