oh lordy that's a tough one Wendy - I shall go look :)

February seemed to have a few I like a lot - I have gone with this one from there -

A
Not an easy choice, but I think it's got to go to this one...

January 1st, 2017
I was thinking to myself the very thought...and came up with this one taken in Turkey back in September
January 1st, 2017
Really difficult - this is certainly one of my favourites.
Happy New Year to everyone.

January 1st, 2017
Not because of it's technical qualities, but because of the story it tells.

January 1st, 2017
Everything just fell into place with this one, very little post processing needed.

@runner365 fabulous image!

I loved this one. I was storm chasing and had hoped for
Ightening!

This was a candid shot I got while taking pics of ducks - I turned around and saw my girl under the bridge, doing her own thing, and quickly snapped her before she moved. I loved everything about it and thought it was so much better than the ducks!

January 1st, 2017
@blueace I love this

That's a thought provoking photo @runner365

Had to take a photo to depict an emotion. It won by one vote

One of the few times I've made the Top Twenty - my Valentine's day table
January 1st, 2017
I think this has to be mine (best viewed on black)

Where is yours Wendy?

@annied Thats a stunner Annie!

What a great discussion, like going to a photographers' exhibit!
January 1st, 2017
It's hard to pick one, which I think is a good thing! I chose this one since I had wanted to visit this area for decades. @jyokota and I climbed a mountain in the dark to be there for the shot. So, it was not only a photo I liked, but satisfying to have been able to take it. Wishing all a great year ahead!

Hard to decide, but I think this one:

@emrob Yours is a stunning shot!
January 1st, 2017
I think this one - a bit different for me

Funny enough it was the first one of my project
Love this kid

Just one of those chance encounters where the sun was positioned in just the right spot, the meerkats were posing just right, and I had a camera in hand.
January 1st, 2017
@runner365 Wow, you are right - the story in your photo is just so compelling. Great capture.
January 1st, 2017
@salza I agree that this is your best image (among many) of the year. Beautiful!
January 1st, 2017
@stray_shooter Thanks. Like you I was just lucky with the timing, being in the right place/time/light - would have liked it to be clearer, but it's a street shot so you take what you get :-).

@stray_shooter I remember that one!
January 1st, 2017
This one for me is one of the best of my 2016. Taken on negative film.

January 1st, 2017
I think it's this one: http://365project.org/anniesue/365/2016-09-03

a lot I considered had sheep in, and the nearly-winner was some wonderful blue water - but I chose this because it was so completely unexpected

Looking back through the year made me realise what huge gaps there were - hope to do better this year. I found it so hard to pick but I'm going with this one from March just because I like the light, the place and it was such a random thing that I would be there to see this wee boy experiencing the wonder of his world.
January 2nd, 2017
@anniesue just copied your shot
January 2nd, 2017
Looking back over the year, this one stood out for me

Isn't it nice if you can say it is a hard choice? I like this one, because it is out of my comfort zone, and I like it nevertheless.
January 2nd, 2017
Hard to choose so I'll go with the first photo that I was really pleased with. It's an early photo from January.

@wenbow thanks for that - will know next time :)
January 3rd, 2017
This one, because it was 100% 365project-inspired and I learned a lot and had a lot of fun taking it.
January 3rd, 2017
I've learned so much in the past few months I actually don't like any of my earlier stuff (and that is ok ) this one speaks to me on a very personal level so this is the favourite for 2016

January 3rd, 2017
Difficult to choose. This was unexpected, I was unprepared but it turned out okay :)
January 3rd, 2017
One of my favorite portrait shots that I did - just love the lighting so much in this shot

January 3rd, 2017
Would love to live in the Lake District.
January 3rd, 2017
Have to be this one just for the way they all lined up for me. It was a pity about the sky but still my favourite shot.
January 4th, 2017
I am pleased with this one because it had taken several visits to get just the light I was after...
January 4th, 2017
This was my favorite because it was kind of vintage looking. But not many seemed to like it as well as I did lol.
