I'm sure I'm not the only one who has brought someone here to join the community. We all remember how daunting it was in the beginning, yes? Let's show the new folks why 365project is the place to do a 365! Please introduce your friend and include one of their photos.
I'll start: please welcome my friend Catie @catherineann707 from here in New Hampshire, USA. I love the reflection she caught in today's photo of Newfound Lake.
I don't have any friends participating in the 365 Project at this time. However, I will introduce you to the friend that brought me to the 365 Project. We "met" on a genealogy forum and shared family tree info. After discovering her husband was a distant cousin of mine, we became Facebook friends. Carole would always share her 365 Project photo of the day on her Facebook page. It took over a year for me to sign up and do my 365 Project. Carole always commented on everybody's photos. She was super sweet and an inspiration to many. I miss her almost daily updates on her family tree and her photos from her daily walks. @cimes1
In the 9 months I've been on 365 I have introduced 2 brothers, a sister-in-law and a friend to the project. John doesn't have many followers, unlike my family members, so please do take a look at his album. @jmdspeedy
@tskipper Thanks for posting the lovely tribute to Carole. Every time I do a Friday flashback, I see a comment from her first. I'm grateful to have known her through 365.
@tskipper I suppose I'm not really at all surprised to see the immediate response to Carole's photo; she was the sweetest person! The moment I say the photo, I knew it was Carole and I read on! In all honesty, I thought of her family, when at Christmas, I was with mine. I knew they would be missing her terribly. It says so much for her that, though we never met, she touched my life in a significant way. THANK YOU for sharing the story!
I am always recommending 365 to people and a couple of friends have joined me this year. This is @stevie78 who is loving the project so far! He intends to document his lunch time walks on the university campus where he works.
