@30pics4jackiesdiamond@pistache thank you Ladies. I'll let this run for a couple of days to see what response we get. Then hopefully we can start planning a get together. Thanks also Clare for contacting other members.
@pistache Hi again Clare - what's the easiest way to contact other members in the way you have? Is it a case of lifting their contact name from their profile? Bit new to this. Thanks.
There was a 365 London meet-up arranged before Christmas that I had to bale out of, so i 'll say yes to this one and keep my fingers crossed. Weekends best for me.
@jclaireyp@stephanies@rachelwithey that's great Ladies. We seem to have had a good response so I'm sure something will happen. Next step will be for me to suggest some dates which I'll do over the weekend.
hi @chillen. oops failed to respond to this earlier. i tagged those people because we all met up in london late last year ... some of them seem keen to come to this as well :) indeed, if you want to tag others who you know might be interested, just use their @ name here :)
and rather delightfully, at the moment sunday 11 june works for me :)
@cottiac I do feel bad Cottia but, like the referendum, I felt it best to go with the majority. If this one works perhaps we can organise another and you can pick the date.
@chillen Hi Chillen, Sorry Sunday is an absolute nightmare for me re travelling into Central London. Rail works, bus replacement etc. Good luck with it though
June 11th looks ok for me, sorry not to meet @cottiac and @padlock but great to meet @megpicatilly and @suesouthwood as I have regular 'conversations' with all of you!!
I'll probably drag Him along with me too if that's OK??
@30pics4jackiesdiamond@pistache@lizhammond@pixiemac@suesouthwood@megpicatilly@kimcrisp@jorlam@browngirl@bizziebeeme@jclaireyp@stephanies@jsmjomo@cookingkaren@rachelwithey Hello again everyone. Apologies for not getting back to you sooner. We've had a family issue to deal with. Hopefully I've included everyone who has shown interest in meeting in London on Sunday 11 June. I suggest we keep things relatively simple. How about meeting at 11.00 for tea/coffee and a hello, followed by a couple of hours of photographising before a lunch together somewhere. There might be time after that for more shots if people want to stay. As for location(s) shall we aim to avoid the obvious, such as the Houses of Buckingham or St Paul's Bridge? It might be interesting to find one or two less tourist-saturated places. I'll give that some thought, along with meeting/lunch venues. If any of you have any good ideas, please let us know. I'm sure we can put together a really enjoyable day. Looking forward to it already. I'll be in touch again soon. In the meantime, post your thoughts and ideas. Thank you Folks - Grant.
@chillen All sounds really good. Don't know London that well, apart from the touristy bits - will research it a bit but happy to go with whatever anyone comes up with. Also called passing the buck!!!
@chillen hi and thanks for the update.. i do not know London, at all, so am unable to help with choice of venues - for photos or food.. i am having to rely upon the good nature of the rest of the group. i'm up in Huddersfield knowing very little of the home counties or the capitol..
Avoiding the tourist traps seems a fabulous idea.. especially as i'm doing them with a friend, in April.
@30pics4jackiesdiamond that's a great suggestion. Been to Borough a couple of times and know what you mean.
@megpicatilly no problem Catherine. I'm sure among us all we'll be able to come up with some good ideas.
@jorlam no problem. I have a cousin in the Huddersfiled area and I've been there a few times. Some nice landscape in striking distance - maybe a location for a future meet.
Yes @chillen up for this if the date fits. Weekends would be best for me. Great idea.
