Because it reminds me---just a little-- of a picture we had on the wall when I was a kid... Gray and Gold by John Rogers Cox in that they are both gray and gold.
I think this one, the water drops were not planned. The rose was beside my humidifier and it wasn't until I sat in my chair that I saw the droplets. Happy accident.

I like the color (and to have a use for the bags and bags of beads I brought home from Mardi Gras in New Orleans in 2007).
