For the past 7 weeks my PC has been out of action. First an update of 'Windows 10' took out the 'start' button. i worked for 3 weeks without it - very frustrating.. finally, i gave in and sent the PC for repair and a new graphics card. there was a delay in the PC being picked up and then Easter happened - more delays. when the thing came back i had loaded all the software etc and was getting all images back into LR5. Then... Microsoft issued another update. This time all connection to my D750 images was totally wiped out, including all past images. Plus, half of my software refused to work correctly. Getting on-line was impossible.
i cannot see well enough on my phone (cataracts) to type comments so resorted to hitting the fav star - just to let followers (and those whom i follow) know i was still around, that i had not forgotten them.
Now, my PC is working again and i can join in the fun once more.
Many of my followers were kind enough to leave wonderfully kind messages for me - thank you so very much for letting me know i was missed.. :-)
I noticed the fav's and assumed you were busy. Sometimes we want this to be like FB where you can just press a button and move on. Sorry you had so many computer issues. I would hang myself. Fortunately I have my old computer I could play with for a while. Thanks for returning.
I, too, had noticed your absence. Funny how we look out for one another and notice things like that! We ALL can relate to your frustration and I'm glad you're back in the fold!
I hear U-- my Mac (suffering from bipolar & iPad running out of battery)...I feel that my so called life in social media will be over soon, my phone doesn't really help in commenting and viewing pics...confused & don't know what to do.....SAD😔!!

Thank you all so very much for your good wishes - i feel quite flattered but also overwhelmed by the response. @joemuli oh how i feel for you, truly i do. When i could no longer be an active part of this superb site i became quite despondent, visualising a boring future - the camera stayed home. occasionally i would rally round and get the camera out again - only to feel the despondency as i had nothing to do with the images. i wish you well for the future and hope you sort out your IT problems very soon 💖
