what did you do with your fingers?

i did a whole month on books i've read when i started 365 back in 2011. it was fun to find a suitable shot everyday to pair with the book. https://365project.org/summerfield/365/2011-08 you might find a book or two that you haven't yet read.

I'm very naughty and tend to have more than one book on the go at a time! At home I'm reading The Essex Serpent by Sarah Penny and at work I have When Breath becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi, and I have a small heap of books to waiting to be read. Not sure I could do a Vikki @summerfield and do a month of my books in a photo! @joansmor I need to ive audio books a try, but am worried I'd crash the car as I might concentrate on the spoken word not the road!!

@30pics4jackiesdiamond I actually do better at paying attention when I have a book going then when I don;t. My mind wanders over work that needs to be done. And a book is even less distracting than family of friends talking.

@joansmor oooh me too. i have read Outlander books several times and and on my second trip through the TV series whilst i wait impatiently for book 9 and the third TV series. I spotted this on the discussions page and thought I would give a plug for one of our 365ers Hazel @quietpurplehaze

Over the last year or two Hazel has been posting excerpts of her father's diaries as a PoW during World War 2 on her 365 page. She has finally been able to get the diaries published and here is a link of her posting yesterday.

I have read the diaries, sections at a time, and found them very moving.
I am so pleased that they are now available from Amazon in book form. Today I have ordered my copy.

I am sure many of you follow Hazel and may be interested in purchasing a copy of the book.

Bep
I just finished a beautiful book, written by Keith Stuart: A Boy made of Blocks. It's about the way a father’s relationship with his autistic son is transformed by their shared adventures in a virtual Lego-like world. A wonderful book!
