A bit of an odd photo I guess but this is today's shot - a day hard at work in my new garden. I feel great after a hard day's labour (despite the heat) and it is so satisfying to see really progress so this is my favourite shot - my filthy feet!
The way this dragonfly perched on a branch in the crab tree, you almost can't distinguish between the branch and the critter. He reminds me of a cowboy at the rodeo. Yee-haw!
My little squirrel friend... very dull day and lots of tree cover so not the best image but we don't see that many squirrels where I live so this was my favourite of the week for the novelty factor :)
This isn't my image - found via Insta, but it sums up my thoughts and feeling about London, which is like my second home and has a special place in my heart. Breaks my heart a little to see the heartless and tragic events that have unfolded in recent weeks and months
I've seen a lot of these in my garden in the last couple of weeks but always on distracting or ugly background so I'm happy to have caught this one, where the background helps show off his wing markings.
