Digital Scrapbooking

September 2nd, 2017
I'm wondering if there are any 365'ers who create Digital Scrapbooks. If there is, can you please share what software you use. I usually use Snap Fish for printing photos books, but I wanted to create a book with a little bit more 'Oomph'.

Hi Debbie, I have never printed a book but I love creating pages and posting them on a few sights. The best place to learn how to do Digital scrapbooking is https://digitalscrapper.com/. You need either Photoshop or Photoshop Elements. If you take the a class you can post your pages and ask for help. If you join let me know. I will be happy to see another 365r on my digital scrapbooking site. The have a great beginners class.

We (my wife and I) use Shutterfly which gives us lots of options. Plus liking them on Facebook gives us an occasional "free" - you have to pay postage & handling which is under $10 US) - book.

@hjbenson But you have to use there icons and stuff and I think Debbie wants to learn how to do her own stuff. Not just printing. But lots of people use Shutterfly for printing.

I used to do some digital scrapping. I took a couple of courses through Jessica Sprague (a long time ago!) http://www.jessicasprague.com/ I used photoshop elements and later photoshop to create things and downloaded embellishments online. There are so many if you google them. Here are a few of the layouts I made years ago (and before I knew much about editing!) I've also made a few books with my layouts. In Australia I used to use Harvey Norman. Any company who makes a square photobook should work though.

@deborah63
I use Photoshop (CS2) for digital scrapbooking. I don't have a lot of pics posted here, but started this year out with a 365 album for some of my scrapbooking pics. This is a few examples of mine if you would care to see them:

I just saw this thread while looking for something else. I just use Photoshop and work with layers. I also have an great wide format photo printer so I can print pages myself. Not done much digital scrapbooking of late but will get back to it when winter gets here :)
