I love the premise of 365, but it has resulted in me taking many pictures in batches and experimenting, etc, more than I can upload here. I'd like to upload them to another site like flickr or photobucket. I've got an account with both but am undecided which I prefer. Are there others (free)? Which site do you prefer?
As it turns out, I'm one of those dinosaurs with dinosaur friends and family. I'm on facebook but don't use it much and most of my family and friends are not on it. I was hoping to put things on a photo site and recommend friends check there once a week or so to see what I've been up to. So a site where one doesn't have to join to comment would be nice.
Deviantart is interesting but I'd feel like the dullest member on there. I lack edge.
I use Picasa, but you need to have a gmail account to comment. I don't upload pics on Facebook anymore, since I found out they have all the rights on your pic once you uploaded it.
I have a blog. I will usually select one photo for here and do a 365 blog post. Then I do other posts on my blog that are more detailed with more photos. I do have a photobucket account for basic editing because I do not have editing software.
@sevinstitches Amanda, there's a free photo program called the gimp. I haven't downloaded it yet but probably will some day.
Well, I've got a gmail account and after looking at picasa, it is my favorite thus far. Seems to have good navigation through albums.
Looking at these makes me appreciate 365 even more. It's really well set up for enjoying other people's pics (which is at least half the fun), not just one's own.
